Hi! I’m Rosy and I’m a self-taught hobby baker, photographer and the author of this colourful and "super sweet" site :-). I’m passionate about baking, caking & everything in between.
I love making things from scratch, using only the finest freshest ingredients such as organic free range eggs, organic Madagascan vanilla bean, high quality butter and last but not least, our national dark treasure, Belgian Chocolate.
That incredible warmth that fills my heart every time I see those beautiful row elements transform into dreamy, delicious little treats with the help of my little secret ingredient, L.O.V.E ...
My love for baking goes way back when I was a little girl. My grandma used to be a home baker, she made delicious cookies and heavenly light moist sponge cakes. Not as fancily decorated as we see them nowadays, but they were probably the best I've ever had. I remember being a 10 year old girl covered in flour working with colourful cookie pressers and cutters shaping dough into beautiful flowers and hearts.
I started baking for the simple joy of sharing delicious treats with those I love. It is the process of fusing love, attention and fine ingredients into something that brings people together in happiness.
